Pediatric Nephrologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated board eligible/certified full-time faculty physician to join our team at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist. As a Pediatric Nephrologist, you will be part of a dynamic and growing Division of Pediatric Nephrology, providing comprehensive nephrology care to our patients.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pediatric nephrology and a passion for teaching and mentoring. You will be responsible for providing medical education to fellows, house staff, medical students, pharmacy residents, and PA students, as well as contributing to the development of our ACGME-approved fellowship program.
Our division offers a wide range of clinical services, including acute kidney injury, chronic kidney disease, glomerulonephritis, nephrotic syndrome, fluid and electrolyte disorders, a dedicated Hypertension clinic, nephrolithiasis, congenital urological anomalies, acute and chronic hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis, CRRT, apheresis, transplantation, prenatal consultation, renal ultrasound, and the capability of ultrasound-guidance renal biopsy.
As a faculty member, you will have opportunities for collaboration with our research centers, including the Wake Forest Institute for Regenerative Medicine, Hypertension and Vascular Research Center, Comprehensive Cancer Center, Center on Diabetes, Obesity, and Metabolism, and Center for Precision Medicine.
