Job Overview

The Landscape Installation Operations Manager is a key position responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of all contracted work on assigned jobsites. This role involves managing landscape installation, supervising subcontractors, and performing planning, administrative, and regulatory functions.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage and oversee all installation projects from start to finish, ensuring accuracy, quality, and efficiency.
  2. Collaborate with designers and clients to create estimates and develop project plans.
  3. Create daily work orders and organize tasks for crews, ensuring timely completion of projects.
  4. Schedule new work and update schedules as needed, ensuring seamless project execution.
  5. Conduct herbicide treatments for new jobs and manage materials ordering to ensure timely delivery.
  6. Maintain a safe and respectful working environment, adhering to company policies and regulations.
  7. Manage crews and personnel, including call-outs, filling in, and addressing issues.
  8. Conduct client walkthroughs and provide exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction.
  9. Facilitate communication between crew, client, and designer/contractor, ensuring smooth project execution.
  10. Train new field hires to ensure they are equipped to perform their duties effectively.
Secondary Responsibilities
  1. Follow up on assigned landscape requests, building estimates for assigned requests or designed projects.
  2. Conduct site visits to ensure projects are progressing as planned.
  3. Schedule maintenance and care of equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  4. Respond to client inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  5. Aid in constructing standard operating procedures for field work and estimating.
  6. Aid in the interview process for new hires, ensuring the right candidates are selected for the role.
