Position Overview

  • A Generation Project Coordinator is required to assist the Major Project Management team. This role involves managing or supporting various phases of significant projects, including business development, site planning, permitting assistance (environmental, regulatory, etc.), scope definition, major contract negotiations (equipment, engineering, or EPC), engineering, procurement, and construction contracts, as well as overseeing construction activities, commissioning, and transition to operational status.
  • Oversees all aspects of enhancement projects, including permitting, contract negotiations, engineering agreements, construction contracts, construction activities, and commissioning.
  • Assists in the development and management of specific segments of project budgets and timelines.
  • Responsible for developing and managing the overall project budget and schedule.
  • Projects may vary in scale from major complex initiatives to smaller enhancement projects within existing facilities.
  • Major complex initiatives may include upgrades to digital instrumentation, incore instrumentation, cable and piping replacements, steam generator replacements, main generator replacements, various heat exchanger replacements, modifications to pressurizers, and upgrades to reactor flow systems and handling equipment.
  • Required Knowledge, Skills, & Experience: A minimum of 7 years of industry experience in construction, engineering, finance, or management, with at least 3 years of demonstrated project management experience.
  • Proven knowledge and experience in project management, relevant technologies, and leadership within the assigned project domains.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of the preferred educational qualifications.
