Medical Assistant Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at All Medical Allied. This is a temporary position with the possibility of becoming permanent.
Location: Lancaster, CA 93534
Shift: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Estimated Salary Range: $17.00 - $25.20 per hour, depending on experience
About the RoleThe successful candidate will perform routine medical procedures, record vital signs, and prepare lab specimens for analysis. They will also assist healthcare professionals during examinations and provide administrative support as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Obtain patient medical history, record vital signs, and complete lab requisitions
- Perform diagnostic procedures, including electrocardiograms, venipuncture, and urine drug testing collection
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all equipment is in good working order
- Assist healthcare professionals during examinations and provide translation services as needed
- Other duties as assigned by management
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A High School diploma or equivalent (GED)
- An Associate degree in Medical Assisting or graduation from an accredited vocational program
- Medical Assistant Certification/Registration or meet state requirements
- A minimum of 1 year of medical assistant experience
- CPR certification
- Experience with medical data entry systems
