Position Details:

  • The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will employ advanced clinical assessment, expertise, and critical thinking skills, functioning both autonomously and in partnership with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Responsibilities include delivering comprehensive healthcare services to individuals and families, with a focus on health promotion and disease prevention across various age groups.
  • The role necessitates exceptional customer service abilities to foster and maintain positive interactions with patients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.

Practice Highlights:

  • Expected patient load is between 8 to 12 daily, encompassing both adult and pediatric populations; the role is entirely clinic-based.
  • The practice team comprises one Advanced Practice Clinician (this position), an additional part-time Physician Assistant, three LPNs/CMA, two RNs, and one Physician.
  • Preferred qualifications include experience in pediatrics, family medicine, and ideally, allergy or asthma care.

Qualifications:

  • Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing or a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited institution.
  • Licensure and Certifications:
  • Current licensure as a registered nurse in Minnesota.
  • Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Minnesota.
  • Current certification in CPR.
  • National certification in the relevant specialty area.
