Metal Finishing Technician

Position: Metal Finishing Technician
Compensation: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour based on experience
Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 6:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (flexibility in hours may be available in the future)
Key Responsibilities- Utilize sandblasting machinery to eliminate shells from metal castings.
- Operate heavy machinery, grinding tools, and power equipment.
- Support the casting process for bronze and stainless steel materials.
- Ensure work pace aligns with production targets and timelines.
- Conduct visual inspections of products to ensure they meet quality specifications.
- Perform additional tasks as required throughout the facility.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Prior experience or training in sandblasting is preferred.
- Experience handling or moving heavy metal components is advantageous.
- Physical endurance to stand for prolonged periods and lift weights up to 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with operating power tools.
- Must possess reliable transportation, a strong work ethic, and knowledge of safety protocols.
- Successful completion of a drug screening and pulmonary function test is mandatory.
