Job Summary

The Department of Criminology at the University of Tampa invites applications for part-time instructors in criminology and criminal justice. We are seeking qualified individuals to teach introductory courses in criminology and criminal justice.

Responsibilities
  • Teach introductory courses in criminology and criminal justice.
  • Follow department requirements for syllabi and other course-related materials.
  • Teach course(s) according to department guidelines.
  • Provide meeting times for students.
  • Complete course grading and submit final grades on the online system.
Requirements
  • A Master's Degree in Criminology/Criminal Justice (or closely related discipline) is required; a Doctorate is preferred. A law degree does not substitute for a Master's Degree in Criminology/Criminal Justice.
  • College-level teaching experience; experience teaching Criminology/Criminal Justice classes is preferred.
  • Relevant work experience is a plus but not required.
