Staff Development Coordinator - Infection Control
The Laurels of Defiance seeks a dedicated and passionate Registered Nurse (RN) to fill the role of Staff Development Coordinator - Infection Control. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to design and implement educational programs for nursing staff, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide exceptional care to our residents.
In this role, you will be responsible for conducting orientation and providing in-service educational programs for nursing staff. You will also be responsible for monitoring healthcare-associated infections, assessing infection prevention problems, and making recommendations for corrective action.

Responsibilities:
- Design and implement educational programs for nursing staff
- Conduct orientation and provide in-service educational programs
- Monitor healthcare-associated infections and assess infection prevention problems
- Make recommendations for corrective action
- Participate in quality assurance and report concerns to supervisor
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of experience in long-term care setting
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
