Senior Care Physical Therapist Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at the Good Samaritan Society, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing quality care and services to seniors in a Christian environment.

Job Summary

As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and delivering physical therapy programs to help clients recover and improve their mobility, relieve pain, and increase strength. You will conduct examinations, evaluations, and interventions for clients affected by injury or disease, utilizing tools and techniques to administer physical therapy interventions following established safeguards.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized physical therapy plans to meet the unique needs of each client
  • Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations to assess client needs and progress
  • Administer physical therapy interventions, including exercises, modalities, and manual therapy
  • Document client information, establish therapeutic plans, and modify them as necessary
  • Educate clients and their family members about treatment plans, schedules, and self-exercises to be continued at home
Requirements
  • Appropriate education level required in accordance with state licensure
  • Licensed in the state(s) of practice as a Physical Therapist
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for health care providers required or within the first 60 days of employment
