About the Role:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team at BrightStar Care of Lane County in Eugene, OR. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing premium, personalized care to our clients, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Providing assistance with daily tasks, including feeding, meal preparation, linen changes, light housekeeping, transportation to doctor appointments, outdoor activities, and shopping.
- Assisting clients with active and passive mobility work defined by the plan of care, and documenting observed changes to the Director of Nursing.
- Providing various personal care services as necessary to meet the client's or patient's needs.
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Minimum one (1) year of documented caregiver, home care assistance experience is required.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Certified CPR and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray.
- Licensed driver with insured and reliable automobile with proof of insurance.
- Excellent references.
- Access to a computer or smart phone for web-based scheduling.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to pass background checks, DMV, and drug screen.
- Must pass caregiver competencies.
- Must be able to stand walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
