Phlebotomy Specialist

As a Phlebotomist I at Actalent, you will be responsible for performing blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. This includes collecting and storing specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other purposes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect and store specimens for various tests
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Check all test requisitions or computer labels against script to ensure 100% accuracy
• Packaging specimens for transport
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs

Requirements:

• 1+ years of experience in phlebotomy
• Phlebotomy experience
• Specimen Collection
• Blood drawing
• Test ordering
• Paperwork processing

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 3 Month(s). The work site is a fully on-site position in Gallatin, Tennessee. The work environment is an IOP location in Gallatin, TN. Doctor office. Mon-Thurs 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Fri-8 AM to 12 PM. 2 Phlebotomist account. Large volume account, typically 20-30 draws a day. Will have 1 week of training at Nashville location.
