Finance Director

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum

We are seeking an experienced Finance Director - Global Operations to lead our accounting activities and global financial operations. As a strategic business partner to the business unit leadership team, you will be responsible for accurately measuring and forecasting operating performance related to KPIs and making recommendations for improvements.

• Maintain effective internal control of all business unit operations and locations to ensure continued protection of assets and accurate reporting of financial position
• Provide management with monthly, quarterly, and annual reviews of the organization's financial status and progress in its various programs and activities
• Partner with sales and operations management to manage working capital by balancing inventory, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
• Forecast Business Unit business activity and financial position in areas of income, expenses, and earnings based on past, present, and expected operations
• Direct preparation of budgets by reviewing budget proposals; prepare necessary supporting documentation and justification
• Arrange audits of business units' financials, as well as internal and external audit requirements and US Sarbanes Oxley-404 (SOX) testing and compliance
• Perform due diligence on potential acquisition targets; develops models, business forecasts, and trend analysis to support these opportunities, as needed
• Drive IT strategy as defined by Division Director of IT, and management of information technology
• Represent the company externally, as necessary, to government agencies and auditors
• Recruit, train, supervise, and develop department staff and conduct annual performance evaluations

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA and CPA preferred
• 10+ years of previous experience in operational accounting leadership roles
• 2-3 years at a public accounting firm would be a plus
• Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing experience would be a plus
• Strong background in GAAP, SEC Reporting, and Sarbanes-Oxley Act compliance as well as Manufacturing Finance
