Role Summary

The Site Construction Supervisor plays a pivotal role in overseeing job site operations, ensuring that work progresses efficiently and effectively. This position involves setting work priorities based on management directives and site needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate heavy machinery, including track hoes and backhoes, with a preference for experience in sheet piling installation.
  • Lead and manage projects, including the installation of piping and tanks along with associated materials.
  • Communicate specific project requirements to the Installation Manager to ensure safe, timely, and profitable completion.
  • Engage with customers or their representatives to address site requirements or issues.
  • Interpret and apply relevant plans, specifications, environmental regulations, and safety codes on-site.
  • Participate in necessary meetings, including Pre-Construction and Safety Meetings, as well as training sessions as directed.
  • Maintain accurate daily logs of job activities, including tests, inspections, progress, and any factors that may impact the schedule.
  • Exemplify professionalism by arriving on time and in appropriate attire.
  • Supervise daily crew activities and plan for upcoming tasks.
  • Facilitate crew training to enhance skills and responsibilities.
  • Enforce safety protocols, identifying and rectifying potential hazards.
  • Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment by all team members and subcontractors.
  • Conduct weekly safety meetings on-site.
  • Uphold a positive company image through professional conduct and site maintenance.
  • Ensure all vehicles are maintained according to departmental standards and operated safely.
  • Be prepared for after-hours work and outdoor conditions.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50-60% of the time.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in piping and product installation is essential.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and capability to operate construction vehicles and tow trailers.
  • Must meet employment criteria, including passing drug screenings and background checks.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Physical capabilities include lifting up to 50 pounds, frequent bending, and standing for extended periods.
