Job Title: Caregiver - Appointment Companion

BrightStar Care of Central Western Riverside County is seeking a qualified and compassionate caregiver to assist our clients with medical and non-medical appointments. As a caregiver, you will be responsible for transporting the client in your vehicle, remaining with the client for the duration of the appointment, and assisting with any assistive devices, including walkers, wheelchairs, or carts.

What We Offer
  • Competitive Pay: $15.50/hr plus mileage
  • Flexible Scheduling: Work as much or as little as you want with a variety of assignments
  • Benefits: Paid on-boarding and training, 24/7 on-call support, RN over-site and support, mileage reimbursements, cell-phone reimbursement, mobile time tracking and care notes
Responsibilities
  • Transport clients to medical and non-medical appointments
  • Assist clients with daily tasks, including feeding, meal preparation, linen changes, light housekeeping, and transportation
  • Provide assistance with active and passive mobility work defined by the plan of care
Requirements
  • Minimum one (1) year of documented caregiver, home care assistance experience
  • Professional licensure (if applicable): CNA, HHA, LVN, or RN
  • High school diploma or GED
  • CPR card certified by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
  • Licensed driver with reliable automobile
  • Proof of auto insurance
  • HCA Registration (California Home Care Aide) & LiveScan
