Job Title: Associate Director of Finance

Join HEI Hotels & Resorts as an Associate Director of Finance and play a key role in directing the financial activities of our hotel. As a member of our finance team, you will be responsible for safeguarding our assets, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and HEI Hotels and Resorts standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Financial Management: Perform all accounting functions, including financial statement preparation, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Accounting Practices, Procedures, and Policies: Assist in producing financial statements, verify compliance with finance SOP manual, and participate in asset inventories.
  • Accounts Receivable and Cash Flow: Manage and oversee all accounts receivable functions, including collection calls and cash deposits.
  • Balance Sheet Reconciliation: Assist in reconciling balance sheet accounts and review problem accounts with the Director of Finance.
  • Management of Department: Identify, screen, and attract management candidates, train associates, and perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • One year of experience in hotel or hospitality-related finance and accounting.
  • Knowledge of hotel financial statements and reconciliation of A and L accounts.
  • B.S. in Accounting.
  • Analytical approach to problems with high regard for detail and accuracy.
  • Sound administrative and managerial skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and advanced Excel skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
