Laundry Worker

The Laundry Worker is responsible for collecting, sorting, and loading soiled linen into the washer(s) and loading clean linens into the dryer(s). This role requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Collect, sort, and load soiled linen into the washer(s)
• Load clean linens into the dryer(s)
• Fold and count clean linens
• Deliver linens to units in a timely and efficient manner
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including machines, work tables, and sorting area
• Utilize protective gear in all appropriate functions
• Report equipment and cleaning product needs and malfunctions to supervisor in a timely fashion

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods
• Ability to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously
• Ability to work around food and cleaning products
• Must be able to live in the service area
