Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant - PM and NOC Shift @ Ovation Sienna Hills

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Ovation Sienna Hills. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Job Summary:

The Certified Nursing Assistant will be responsible for delivering medical and non-medical care to patients as directed by the team leader and the Plan of Care. This includes maintaining patient comfort and safety, following departmental policies and procedures, and reporting any changes in a resident's condition to the Team Leader.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver medical and non-medical care to patients as directed by the team leader and the Plan of Care.
  • Maintain patient comfort and safety, including proper positioning and turning of hospice residents.
  • Follow all departmental policies and procedures, as well as safety, environmental, and infection control standards.
  • Record all entries on flow sheets, notes, charts, etc., prior to end of shift.
  • Report all changes in a resident's condition to the Team Leader as soon as possible.
  • Observe and report the presence of pressure areas and skin breakdowns to prevent decubitus ulcers (bedsores).
  • Report injuries of an unknown source, including skin tears.
  • Report and document all accidents and incidents to Team Leader.
  • Abide by HIPPA regulations.
  • Assist with transferring residents.
  • Participate in and receive the handoff report upon reporting for duty.
  • Assist residents with ADLs, including but not limited to:
    • Daily dental and mouth care.
    • Bath functions.
    • Dressing/undressing as necessary.
    • Hair care functions.
    • Nail care.
Requirements:
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
  • Ability to assist in the evacuation of residents during emergency situations.
