Job Description

As a Highway and Roadway Tech at TPC CORPORATION, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving our state roadways. This includes performing preventative maintenance and repair on roadway assets, checking complaints on roads, and inspecting highways to determine repair work needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with operations to maintain roadway right-of-way during emergencies such as natural disasters and inclement weather.
  • Complete vehicle pre/post trip inspections daily to ensure vehicles and equipment are safe and in good working order.
  • Report any safety issues from pre/post trip inspections immediately to supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Ability to take and pass the FDOT MOT certification class.
  • Must be available for on-call 1 week per month for emergency response providing traffic control and safety.

Salary Range: $45,000 - $65,000 per year
