About the Job:

We are seeking a Phlebotomy Specialist to join our team at Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Ltd. This role will involve greeting donors, performing venipuncture, and monitoring donor reactions in a fast-paced plasma donation center environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet donors and perform venipuncture
  • Monitor donor reactions and manage complications
  • Perform all tasks required for the setup, verification, operation, and troubleshooting of plasmapheresis equipment
  • Stock supplies, break down empty cartons, and assist with proper disposal
  • Enter donor information into the Donor Information System (DIS)

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift
  • Will work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to lift to 5 lbs., and occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs.
  • Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance
