As a Nurse Assistant at McLaren USA, you will play a vital role in delivering patient-centered care under the direct supervision of a Nurse. Your primary responsibilities will include performing selected day-to-day patient care activities, maintaining a safe and clean working environment, and ensuring compliance with health care regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform specific patient care interventions as delegated by the RN to identify and attain treatment goals.
• Deliver compassionate support, attention, and assistance to patients and families.
• Provide physical support for patients with daily activities and personal hygiene, including bathing, showering, feeding, dressing, getting out of bed, using the toilet, walking, standing, or exercising.
• Ensure compliance with all health care regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA.
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six (6) months of job-related experience and/or training.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association (AHA), American Red Cross (ARC), or Canadian equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications:
• State Certified Nursing Assistant.
• One year of experience in a medical setting.
