About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Novolex. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products and maintaining our commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quality Control and Assurance: Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate records of quality control results, including test and audit reports.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with production teams, supervisors, and upper management to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Quality Testing and Analysis: Conduct quality testing in our QA Lab, including paper tensile strength, handle strength, ink rub resistance, bar code scanning, and basis weight testing.
Requirements
  • Experience: Two years of quality or safety experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting, or four years in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
  • Internal Auditing Experience: Internal auditing experience is preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Must have intimate knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Soft Skills: Self-managing with organization, time management, and analytical skills.
  • Physical Requirements: Must have good eyesight, with the ability to distinguish color.
