- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning bathrooms, living spaces, kitchens, dusting, mopping, changing linens, vacuuming, doing laundry, and managing waste.
- Plan, prepare, and cook meals.
- Engage in meaningful conversation and provide companionship.
- Implement Interactive Caregiving techniques.
- Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
- Provide hands-on personal care, including support with dressing, grooming, hygiene, and incontinence care.
- Facilitate mobility assistance using transfer tools and equipment.
- Support medication management.
- Maintain communication with the Client Care Coordinator as necessary.
- Document care and shift details electronically.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Possess reliable transportation and a personal vehicle.
- Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 3 years of driving experience.
- Proof of Auto Insurance listing you as an authorized driver.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Must pass state and federal background checks and fingerprinting.
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds.
- Demonstrated excellent attendance and job retention in previous work history.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
- Positive references and a compassionate, caring demeanor.
- Professional appearance and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
