Job Summary

Maine Medical Center is seeking a skilled EEG Technologist to join our neurodiagnostic team. This role is perfect for an individual with experience in advanced pediatric and adult EEG services.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented technologist who can work independently in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality EEG recordings, collaborating with healthcare teams, and troubleshooting equipment issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform EEG recordings on patients of all ages, including neonatal and pediatric populations
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate and timely testing results
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine maintenance tasks
  • Develop and maintain expertise in advanced EEG techniques, including paste, tape, and wrap methods

Requirements

  • ABRET registration as an EEG technologist
  • At least 3 years of experience in EEG technology
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work in a team environment and prioritize tasks effectively
