Job Title: Staff Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Staff Nurse to join our team at Children's Health (Dallas). As a Staff Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the well-being of our young patients.

Job Summary:

The Staff Nurse will be responsible for providing direct patient care, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and promoting a culture of safety and excellence. This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with occasional floating to other Children's Health locations.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Promote a culture of safety and excellence, adhering to regulatory requirements and hospital policies.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Current license to practice professional nursing in the State of Texas.
  • PALS/NRP/ACLS certification (department-specific requirements).
  • Four-year Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
