Shop Technician

We are seeking a skilled painter to join our team at Holt Group Inc. As a painter, you will be responsible for painting and sandblasting heavy equipment, oil field pump skids, generator packages, and related equipment in a shop environment.

• Paint Preparation: Performs painting preparation process to assure quality paint application.
• Painting and Finishing: Operates painting or coating tools on assigned equipment to improve the appearance and achieve customer satisfaction.
• Quality Control: Ensures that all equipment meets the required quality standards.
• Maintenance and Repair: Performs routine maintenance and repairs on equipment to ensure optimal performance.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Three or more years of experience in painting and/or body work in an automotive or similar shop environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent, with a preference for associate degree or technical training from an accredited vocational school.
• Strong knowledge of tools, equipment, methods, materials, and terminology used in the painting trade.
• Ability to work safely at all times, adhering to all applicable safety policies and procedures.
