Dual Role Physician Leader

Job Overview
As a dual role physician leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the medical direction of patient services and working closely with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure high-quality care plans are in place. This position involves leadership roles in clinical services planning, provider relations, and ethics committee participation. Additionally, you will partner with the care team to develop strong relationships with patients and their families, ensuring their needs are met through in-person and virtual visits.
Key Responsibilities
• Medical Director: Provide overall medical direction to patient and family services, collaborating with the executive director, director of clinical services, and team directors to plan and evaluate clinical services.
• Team Physician: Partner with the interdisciplinary care team, participating in IDG meetings to ensure comprehensive care plans are developed and regulatory requirements are met. Conduct in-person and virtual visits to provide direct patient care, documenting all interactions to ensure seamless access to benefits.
Benefits and Compensation
This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $47,500-$60,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Additional benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, professional development opportunities, company-matching 401(k), flexible spending accounts, and company store credit for patient-facing employees.
Qualifications and Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess an active license and DEA certification in the state where care is provided. Ten or more years of clinical experience are preferred, as well as five or more years in a medical director or administrator role. Proven success in building de novo products or services, and oversight of clinical programs, are also desired.
