Youth Advocate

Job Summary:

At Youth Advocate Programs, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Youth Advocate to join our team. As a Youth Advocate, you will play a vital role in providing direct advocacy services to assigned clients and their families, promoting a strength-based approach using the wrap-around model.

Key Responsibilities:

• Initiate, organize, plan, develop, and implement direct advocacy services to assigned clients and their families.
• Develop and implement service plans based on a strength-based approach using the wrap-around model.
• Provide support and guidance to clients and their families, promoting positive outcomes and self-sufficiency.
• Collaborate with community resources and agencies to ensure comprehensive support for clients and their families.
• Document and maintain accurate records of client interactions and service plans.

Requirements:

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in community work and knowledge of community resources.
• Bi-lingual/Spanish speaking preferred but not required.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current automobile insurance coverage.
