Financial Auditor

We are seeking a skilled Night Auditor to join our team at Collegiate Hotel Group. This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all charges to guest folios, averaging the sum of revenues from various departments, and making cash drops in accordance with proper cash handling procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Audits the daily guest ledger
• Handles end-of-day accounting functions, including posting daily room rates and room tax
• Ensures the accuracy of all charges to guest folios
• Averages the sum of revenues from food, room, and other departments
• Serves as a front desk clerk, checking guests in and out, booking reservations, and resolving guest issues
• Makes cash drops according to established procedures
• Organizes the Front Desk area to facilitate a smooth transition for morning staff
• Monitors the hotel's security camera system
• Maintains a well-maintained lobby, properly lit, and with music at a suitable volume
• Works nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in Accounting or Night Auditor role
• Knowledge of Property Management Systems (PMS)
• High School Diploma/GED
