About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Dietary Director to lead our dietary department at PACS Inc. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of food service operations, ensuring that our residents receive high-quality meals while adhering to strict health and safety standards.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in dietary management, with experience in leading teams and managing budgets. Your excellent communication and organizational skills will enable you to effectively manage daily operations, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Food Service Operations: Oversee the preparation, presentation, and serving of meals to our residents, ensuring that they meet our high standards for quality and nutrition.
- Staff Management: Lead and motivate a team of dietary staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are equipped to deliver exceptional service.
- Budget Management: Manage the dietary budget, controlling costs and maximizing value while maintaining high-quality services.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all aspects of food service operations comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Quality Assurance: Develop and implement quality assurance programs to monitor and improve food service operations.
Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; graduate of an approved dietary manager's course preferred.
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a long-term care facility dietary department.
- Certifications: Knowledge of PCC (Preferred) and ability to maintain all required continuing education/licensing.
Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
