Location:
Remote (Hybrid options available)

Assignment Duration:
Temporary with potential for extension

Working Hours:
Monday – Friday: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM EST

Compensation:
$25.00 per hour, paid weekly

Special Instructions:
This role requires on-site presence initially, with the possibility of transitioning to a hybrid model.

Overview:

The Logistics Analyst will play a pivotal role in supporting the Logistics Manager and the Supply Chain division by conducting data analysis, generating reports, upholding data integrity, documenting workflows, facilitating communication among supply chain stakeholders (vendors, third-party logistics, field teams, etc.), and tracking Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

The Analyst will assist in formulating project benefits and business cases by leveraging operational data.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate logistics data to uncover trends and identify areas for enhancement (including distribution patterns, expenses, etc.).
  • Employ data analysis tools and software to support informed decision-making within the team.
  • Track performance metrics and provide updates on key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Develop comprehensive reports and presentations for upper management.
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction and implement effective solutions.
  • Assist in regular evaluations of logistics processes.
  • Collaborate with procurement, warehousing, and transportation teams.
  • Engage with external partners and vendors to ensure clear communication and data transparency.
  • Maintain and update logistics databases and systems.
  • Document and uphold standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Participate in initiatives aimed at continuous improvement.
  • Provide analytical support for projects, new business opportunities, and proposals.
  • Assist in the development of business cases and proposals.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned by the manager related to supply chain analysis.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; a four-year degree is preferred.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong emphasis on accuracy and robust quantitative and analytical capabilities.
  • Proficient in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau).
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, D365) is advantageous.
  • Knowledgeable in supply chain, logistics, and distribution concepts.
  • Comfortable collaborating with individuals at all organizational levels; able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage time effectively and work with minimal supervision.
