Job Overview

i9 Sports is seeking a motivated and experienced Sports Instructor/Official to join our team in Manatee & Sarasota, FL. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for enforcing rules, promoting sportsmanship, and providing a positive experience for players, coaches, and spectators.

Responsibilities
  • Enforce i9 Sports rules and ensure a fun, learning, and safe environment for all players
  • Teach and demonstrate core concepts, including sportsmanship values
  • Manage game time and scorekeeping, while providing age-appropriate instruction and competition
  • Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and exceptional customer service skills
Qualifications
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Sport-specific officiating, playing, or coaching experience
  • Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently and solve problems
  • Awareness and ability to take charge of any situation to ensure player safety
  • Positive attitude and strong ability to build professional relationships
  • Ability to work a varied schedule, including weekends and evenings, for the full duration of the season (approximately 7 weeks)
  • Must pass a National Criminal Background Check
