About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our dedicated team in an elementary school setting.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in speech therapy, with experience working with students who require Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a caseload of approximately 20 students, providing direct therapy to support their communication challenges.
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and contribute to the Response to Intervention (RTI) process, ensuring each student receives tailored support.
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to share knowledge, coordinate efforts, and promote student progress.
  • Conduct assessments to identify areas for improvement and create treatment plans that meet each student's unique needs.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is highly preferred.
  • Experience with AAC, IEP development, and RTI is an asset.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential.
