About this role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Bilingual Associate Personal Banker to join our team. As a Bilingual Associate Personal Banker, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our Spanish-speaking customers, building relationships through proactive outreach, and proposing appropriate products and services to help customers succeed financially.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in delivery of exceptional customer experience by building relationships through proactive outreach and proposing appropriate products and services.
  • Assist customers with basic requests related to opening new accounts, completing service requests, and submitting credit applications.
  • Receive direction from managers and exercise judgment within defined policies and procedures.
  • Develop understanding of bank products and services to connect with customers' needs.
  • Interact with customers to demonstrate care and build relationships.
  • Provide appropriate options for bank products and services to customers.
  • Refer customers' financial needs to other bankers and partners as needed.
Requirements:
  • 6 months of interacting with customers' experience or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
  • Bilingual speaking and listening proficiency in Spanish/English.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Customer service focus with experience handling complex transactions across multiple systems.
  • Experience proactively engaging with customers through outreach via phone or email.
  • Ability to educate and connect customers to technology and share the value of mobile banking options.
  • Ability to help customers succeed financially by offering introductions to additional team members as appropriate.
  • Experience working with others on a team to meet customer needs.
  • Experience fostering and developing strong customer relationships.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal partners.
  • Ability to follow policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Ability to identify potential fraud/risky accounts and take appropriate action to prevent loss.
  • Ability to interact with integrity and professionalism with customers and team members.
Job Expectations:
  • Ability to work a schedule that may include most Saturdays.
  • Must take and pass required language assessment.
  • Maintains cash drawer, cash handling, and balancing, and spends time completing service-related tasks as needed.
  • This position requires SAFE registration at the time of employment. Wells Fargo will initiate the SAFE registration process immediately after your employment start date.
  • This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.
