Nursing Team Coordinator Job Summary

Haywood Regional Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic 17-bed Emergency Department (ED) team. As a Nursing Team Coordinator, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize specialized plan-of-care intervention to shape exceptional patient journeys
  • Collaborate with a diverse team of RNs, CNAs, Paramedics, Secretaries, and Providers to deliver high-quality emergency medical care
  • Participate in a fast-paced setting with an average daily volume of approximately 74 patients

Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program required with a current unencumbered Registered Nurse License in North Carolina or from a Compact State
  • AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire
  • AHA ACLS and AHA PALS certifications required within six months of hire
  • Handle With Care certification required within 90 days of hire
  • One year of experience preferred
