Nutrition Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Dietician to join our team at Elderwood at Williamsville. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional nutrition care to our residents, ensuring their health and well-being.

• Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments for adult and geriatric residents, developing and implementing individualized care plans that meet their unique needs.
• Provide education and counseling to residents and their families on healthy eating habits and nutrition-related topics.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident nutrition information in our computer system.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary medical team to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
• Stay current with federal and state regulations regarding nutritional services in long-term care settings.

• Bachelor of Science degree or higher in Nutrition/Dietetics from an accredited program.
• Active and ongoing registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• Experience in long-term care or a related field is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare teams.
