School-Based LPN

Seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in a school-based setting. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to students, parents, and staff.
Responsibilities:- Assess and respond to students' health concerns, injuries, and illnesses promptly, providing appropriate care and referrals as needed.
- Develop and implement individualized healthcare plans for students with specific medical needs, in collaboration with parents/guardians and other healthcare providers.
- Maintain accurate and confidential health records, including immunization records, health assessments, and documentation of healthcare services provided.
- Educate students, parents, and staff on health-related topics, including preventive care, hygiene practices, and emergency procedures.
- Provide accommodations for students with disabilities as needed per school's requirements.
- Assist students with transportation to and from school as needed.
- Valid RN or LPN license in PA.
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in nursing from an accredited university.
- Experience working as a nurse in a school, pediatric, or related healthcare setting (experience in an educational setting preferred).
- Experience with disability accommodations (i.e. G-tube, trach, and mobility accommodations) preferred.
- Strong clinical skills, including first aid, medication administration, and assessment of common childhood illnesses and injuries.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and staff members.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
