Arconic is seeking a highly skilled IT AVEVA PI Specialist to join our Global Rolled Products (GRP) Team in Bettendorf, IA.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for developing an in-depth understanding and documentation of the current AVEVA PI platform footprint, providing AVEVA/PI Development and Administration expertise, and helping to standardize the PI analytics platform across GRP.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and document business processes and operational requirements
- Provide day-to-day production support for Aveva PI applications, including PI interfaces, PI Data Archive, PI Asset Framework, PI Asset Analytics, PI Event Frames, PI Vision, and PI Notifications
- Create, monitor, and provide maintenance for PI system tags, Asset Analytics, and AF Structure to meet defined standards
- Ensure issues are properly documented, classified, and escalated as appropriate
- Provide support on project teams to deliver new functionality
- Provide training to IT and end users
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience
- Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Technical knowledge of networks and firewalls to work with Network engineers to collect data into PI
- Experience with the installing, monitoring, maintaining, and updating Aveva PI System security and patches
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong relationship skills and ability to interact with IT, Business, customers, and management
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or Computer Science from an accredited institution
- Five years of IT experience working with and/or supporting AVEVA/PI environment
- Experience with creating, tuning, and monitoring SQL queries and servers
- Experience with Active Directory Security
- Experience in SQL Programming (SQL, or Oracle PL/SQL)
- Experience in.Net, C#, or Java programming
