Visionary Chancellor

The next Chancellor will build on Rutgers University–Newark's legacy as a model of academic and research excellence and civic engagement.

Reporting to the President of Rutgers University, the Chancellor will provide strategic leadership to advance the University's mission and enhance its influence and impact.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the complexities of leading an urban public institution and possess exceptional communication skills to inspire confidence and foster unity among stakeholders.

The expected salary range for this role is $400,000 to $475,000, based on the position's responsibilities and scope.
