Job Details

Cipla, a global pharmaceutical leader, is seeking a Chemical Analyst to join our team at our manufacturing site in Central Islip, NY.

This full-time position offers a competitive salary of $ 65,000 - 85,000 per annum, depending on experience, and benefits include health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Chemical Analyst with excellent analytical skills to conduct routine testing and analysis in our Quality Control (QC) laboratory. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating specialized equipment, conducting advanced testing, and participating in investigation activities.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct routine testing and analysis in the QC laboratory
  • Operate specialized equipment, such as GC, HPLC, and ICP
  • Participate in investigation activities to ensure compliance with cGMP practices
  • Ensure data integrity and good documentation practices
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in a physical science, current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) knowledge, and working knowledge of raw materials and finished product testing instruments. Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and other scientific software is also required.

Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, standing or walking unassisted for 75% of an 8-hour period. Unassisted lifting up to 10 kg may be required, and the ability to wear personal protective equipment is essential.
