Nurse Oncologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Radiation Oncology team at Mass General Brigham in Boston, MA.
As a Radiation Oncology RN, you will provide professional, competent, and compassionate nursing care to patients and their families, assessing patient vital signs and monitoring for symptoms of radiation side effects.
You will administer medications, infusions, and provide patient and caregiver teaching, managing the recovery of patients post-radiation treatment, especially when anesthesia is involved.
Collaborate with patients and their support systems to meet their individual needs and expectations, ensuring that care is safe, efficient, effective, and timely.
Communicate effectively and coordinate patient care with physicians, advanced practice providers, radiation therapists, and medical assistants, using clinical computer applications like Mosaiq and Epic to effectively manage and document patient information.

- Bachelor of Science in Nursing is required
- Previous experience in caring for adult patient populations is preferred
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required
- Specialty certification is preferred
- Oncology nursing experience is preferred
- Proficiency in email and Microsoft applications, including Excel, is required
- Experience with health information technology, such as Epic, is required
- Phlebotomy skills are required
- Basic Life Support Certification is recommended
