Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Manage the project budget, write contracts, approve invoices, and update the project schedule.
  • Site Coordination: Coordinate among subcontractors and help resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the job.
  • Document Control: Organize, process, and distribute pertinent project documents.
  • Schedule Management: Create the project schedule and expedite documents and material/equipment deliveries to meet the project schedule.
  • Cost Control: Maintain cost control data and prepare cost reports.
  • Relationship Management: Maintain mutually satisfying long-term relationships with customers, architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and employees.
  • LEED Implementation: Conduct implementation and tracking of LEED requirements.
  • Close-out Procedures: Manage close-out procedures and activities.
  • Safety Management: Ensure that safety rules and regulations are being carried out at project sites.
Requirements
  • Leadership: Ability to supervise and lead a team.
  • Organization: Ability to schedule and supervise multi-tasking work of a multi-member team.
  • Experience: Proven knowledge in commercial building and construction and related sectors.
  • Problem-Solving: Good problem-solving skills.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills with team members, project management, and customers.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook software.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Travel: Ability to travel up to 30% for job sites.
Work Environment

The job is performed indoors in a variety of settings, including offices, interior building job sites, and job sites outside. While performing the duties of this job on a construction job site, the employee may be exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, high, precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, outside weather conditions, extreme cold, and extreme heat.
