About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Paint and Finish Technician to join our team at Reading Truck. As a Paint and Finish Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the high-quality finish of our specialty truck equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sand and prepare surfaces for painting, ensuring a smooth finish.
  • Scrape and clean surfaces of truck equipment to remove old coatings and debris.
  • Apply topcoat and undercoat paint as needed, using a variety of techniques and equipment.
  • Clean and maintain spray guns, paint booths, and work areas to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Perform quality assurance checks to ensure a high-quality finish.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in paint and finish work.
  • Prior experience with pot gun spray equipment and light sanding on large equipment or vocational vehicles is preferred.
  • Bed liner application experience and decal/wrap application experience are also preferred.
