Job Summary:

As an Iron Operator with Aramark Uniform Services, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient handling of merchandise in our industrial laundry facility. This is a dynamic and fast-paced environment where you will work collaboratively with a team to meet production goals and maintain high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Stage and feed merchandise onto the ironer to minimize wrinkling and tangling
• Receive and fold merchandise from the ironer with precision and accuracy
• Identify and segregate merchandise that does not meet quality standards
• Verify merchandise quantity and bundle by type with attention to detail

Working Environment:

This role requires working in a warehouse setting with exposure to outside weather conditions, extreme temperatures, and potential dust and noise. You will be required to stand and walk for extended periods, push carts weighing approximately 300 lbs, and perform repetitive motions throughout your shift. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this role.

Requirements:

• High school degree or equivalent preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to meet attendance schedule and work a shift schedule, including weekends and overtime as needed
