We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Laboratory Team Lead to join our team. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for leading and guiding our team of medical technologists and laboratory assistants in the execution of their responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage the laboratory team to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the laboratory.
- Develop and implement quality control and quality assurance procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with the laboratory director and other stakeholders to develop and implement policies and procedures.
- Provide training and coaching to laboratory staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of laboratory staff and provide feedback and guidance as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as medical technology or a related field.
- MT ASCP certification required.
- Minimum 25 years of relevant leadership experience in a laboratory setting.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with laboratory staff, management, and other stakeholders.
