About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mathematician III to join our team at Bluberi in Austin, Texas. As a key member of our Jackalope Studio, you will be responsible for creating fresh game content and iterating on current gameplay formulas to deliver high-quality, captivating, and performing games.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop math models for different markets, including Class III, Class II, and Lottery, and review outcomes for all game-specific metrics to hit targets.
  • Guide proper implementation of math into game builds and systems through clear documentation and discussions.
  • Develop in-house simulations and theoretical calculations, and assist other mathematicians by evaluating math outcomes, scripts, and proofs for games at any stage of conception and development.
  • Use existing math tools competently to generate math files and support new complex game mechanics by developing or evolving tools.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or Statistics or relevant experience in lieu.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and application of Combinatorics, Probability Theory, and Statistics.
  • 5+ years' experience with game development.
  • Advanced knowledge of the casino gaming industry.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with C#, WPF, and.Net Core/.Net.
  • Competent with version control systems, such as Git and SVN.
  • Advanced Excel skills, able to create and adapt large and complex spreadsheets.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
