About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Surgical Technologist III to join our team at AdventHealth Carrollwood. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing technical support in the perioperative period.

Responsibilities
  • Set up sterile tables with instruments, supplies, equipment, and medications/solutions needed for procedures.
  • Display knowledge of procedures and patient positioning.
  • Perform appropriate counts with the circulator prior to the operation and before incision is closed.
  • Gown and glove the surgeon and assistants.
  • Help in draping the sterile field.
  • Pass instruments, etc., to the surgeon during procedures.
Requirements
  • High School Graduate/GED.
  • Successful completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
  • CST with at least two years of experience.
  • Specialist in at least three areas as evidenced by surgeon sign-offs.
Preferred Qualifications
  • AS in Surgical Technology.
