About the Role

Gulfstream SP is seeking a highly skilled HVAC Sheet Metal Fabrication Operations Manager to oversee all aspects of the sheet metal fabrication process, from design to production. This position requires a strong understanding of engineering principles, manufacturing processes, and materials science.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of fabricators and technicians to ensure the timely completion of projects.
  2. Process Development: Develop and implement manufacturing processes and procedures that improve quality, efficiency, and productivity.
  3. Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that all sheet metal fabrication equipment is properly maintained and in good working condition.
  4. Technical Guidance: Provide technical guidance and support to team members, including training, troubleshooting, and problem-solving.
  5. Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering, quality control, and production, to ensure that products meet specifications and customer requirements.
  6. Production Monitoring: Monitor production schedules and budgets to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
  7. Workplace Safety: Maintain a safe and clean work environment, and ensure that all team members adhere to safety procedures and regulations.
  8. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings, and implement these changes as appropriate.
  9. Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels and order materials as needed to support production.
  10. Compliance: Ensure that all work is completed in accordance with company policies and procedures, as well as industry standards and regulations.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, the HVAC Sheet Metal Fabrication Operations Manager should have a bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field, along with several years of experience in sheet metal fabrication or a related industry. They should have strong leadership and communication skills, as well as a thorough understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment. A sheet metal fabrication manager should also be able to analyze data and make decisions that improve efficiency and productivity while maintaining high levels of quality and safety.
