Job Summary

Mission Hospital McDowell is seeking a skilled Imaging Technologist to join our team. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing invasive and non-invasive procedures on a variety of patients, utilizing sterile techniques and operating complex imaging equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform imaging procedures, including CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, and Ultrasound, to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Assist physicians as necessary, providing support and guidance during procedures.
  • Continuously update knowledge and skills to stay current with advancements in imaging technology and techniques.
  • Work independently to produce superior quality imaging studies, with minimal supervision.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JCERT) program.
  • ARRT registered and hold post-primary certification in a minimum of 1 additional qualifying discipline.
  • Previous experience in a multi-disciplined Radiology Department, with a preference for two years of experience in an advanced discipline.
