Job Summary:

The GovServicesHub is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Developer to lead the development of the MRC-STTRONG project. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the development of the SERVNY application, providing technical expertise, and implementing, testing, and deploying code.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of the SERVNY application, ensuring system layout, technology stack, and framework selection.
  • Guide the development of robust technical solutions for the SERVNY application.
  • Implement a responsive web application that can work on any device, using a Single Page Application (SPA) architecture and interacting with secure RESTful services.
  • Develop the backend using object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and leverage Spring framework, and Spring Boot for faster development.
  • Build the user interface (UI) with the Angular framework using TypeScript for type safety and enhanced maintainability.
  • Use PrimeNG components to provide pre-built UI elements.
  • Connect the application to a relational database, either PostgreSQL or Oracle, for data storage and retrieval.

Requirements:

  • 8 years of experience in software development, including REST API design and implementation.
  • 7 years of experience in development in medium to large-scale technical projects and assuring deliverables and project scope are met and well documented.
  • 6 years of experience in designing, implementing, testing, and deploying Web Applications (Single Page front end applications, REST backends).
  • 5 years of experience with proficiency in Spring and Spring Boot frameworks for efficient back-end development.
  • 5 years of experience with proficiency in application development with Angular UI Frameworks.
  • 4 years of experience in developing cloud-native and hybrid applications using serverless platforms (e.g., AWS or GCP).
  • Requires at least a bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent in a relevant technology field from an accredited institution.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CSM Certification.
  • PSM Certification.
