Graduate Student Assistant for International Programs
Job Overview:
This role involves supporting the International Programs department in initiatives that promote the cultural adaptation and social integration of international scholars into campus and community life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting in the organization and implementation of global education and intercultural activities.
- Providing administrative assistance to program personnel, which includes scheduling meetings, maintaining documentation, and generating reports.
- Helping in the creation and distribution of promotional materials for programs.
- Collaborating with students, faculty, and external stakeholders.
- Supporting research endeavors related to global education and cultural studies.
Minimum Requirements:
Must be a current graduate student at Auburn University.
Preferred Qualifications:
Ideal candidates will possess strong organizational skills, exceptional communication abilities, and a keen interest in international education. Experience in project management, engagement with diverse communities, global customer service, and an interdisciplinary approach are highly valued.
Compensation:
$12.00 per hour
Work Schedule:
20 hours per week
